Made to Order Crochet Blanket: Custom Colors & Patterns [Message me on Etsy for a Quote, Price TBD]

Made to order crochet blankets are my absolute favorite thing to crochet for clients!  Crochet blankets are cozy, comforting and when they come in your favorite style or colors, can be very uplifting as well. 
It feels like getting a hug from your favorite person.  There are so many different options when it comes to purchasing a handmade crochet blanket, your only limit is your imagination.  Unfortunately, Fourthwall doesn't allow for messaging with all clients, so I'll handle custom blanket requests through my Etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/onemellowmarigold).

Below are a few options to consider as well as some notes about what you can expect when interacting with me.

A:  Recreate your favorite pattern.
The pictures 1, 2 and 5 above are great examples of this.  Each was made from a pattern created by someone else, but chose their own colors are was executed by me.  You can come to me with a pattern that you've already chosen or I can suggest patterns that you might like as well!  

1. The beautiful blanket pictured was made with Victoria's German Shells Blanket by Jonna Martinez (www.jonnamartinez.com, www.youtube.com/c/JonnaMartinez/videos, @JonnaMartinezCrochet) using Red Heart Ombre yarn in Fruity Stripe and Anemone.  
2. Log Cabin Granny Square Blanket by @Hooked by Robin on YouTube using Knit Picks Brava Yarn in Bulky.  This pattern is fun and geometric and the possibilities are endless with Knit Picks Yarn.
5.  North Star Blanket is a round crochet throw blanket was made by Karen V Edwards on Ravelry (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/north-star-blanket) and has not only a fun round shape, but lots of drape and texture.

B: Complete or add to the work completed by a loved one.
You may have someone in your life who loved to crochet, but perhaps was unable to continue crocheting and has a project left unfinished.  You'd love to see if finished in honor or your special human, but don't know anyone who can pick it up?  No problem, I love these types of projects.  The baby blanket pictures above (3) are such an example.  My client's mother passed while working on a baby blanket.  My client asked me to pick up and add to the work her mom started so that her future children would have a handmade keepsake.  

C.  Fully Custom Design.
Have an idea of what you'd like, but don't know how to make it come to life?  I'll work with you to help define your style, colors, how the blanket will be used and work up custom designs for you to choose from.  The striped blanket (4) above is an example of a custom design I made for one client specifically to match the colors of their fraternal organization.  I then recreated it with different colors for another client who just loved the pattern.  I use computer software to mock up designs so we can get as specific for you as possible!

I can keep all budgets in mind when discussing your custom blanket, so don't be afraid to be honest about what you'd like to spend.  Pricing will depend on your choice of yarn, needed completion date and final size.  Blankets made from existing patterns will cost less than custom designs.  For example, the full size blanket pictured (1) would be priced at $375 and the 50"x50" size would be priced around $300. The Log Cabin blanket (2) would also be priced at $300.  If you'd like to upgrade a blanket to a single bed size, prices will start around $600, depending on yarn and pattern chosen. Final pricing will be discussed and agreed upon and paid before the blanket will be constructed.  Time to complete is between 3-4 weeks depending on size and yarn availability.
