Crochet Hooded Scarf: Long Winter Scarf with attached Hood

Your crochet hooded scarf will keep you warm and toasty this winter or make the perfect holiday gift for your favorite human!  The scarf is long at just over 7" and is attached to a hood that measures a deep, 15" hood, which allows plenty of room for hats and hairstyles.  

The Black & White hooded scarf is made with 100% acrylic yarn from Lion Brand Mandala Gradient yarn in Black.  It is heavier and thicker than the Black Cherry scarf as it's made with thicker fibers.  Because it's acrylic, it's easily machine washable and dryable.  The hood measurements are 15" deep and 14.5" tall.  The scarf measurements are 8" wide by 88" inches long.

The Black Cherry scarf is made from 70% Baby Alpaca (23% nylon, 7% Merino) from Wonderfluff/Knitpicks yarn.  Because the alpaca yarn is much lighter and softer than acrylic, this hooded scarf will weigh less than the Black & White scarf.  The warmth and softness of the alpaca will draw you in, but you cannot machine wash this scarf.  It will need to be gently hand-washed in cold water and laid flat to dry. The hood measurements are 14.5" deep and 13.5" tall.  The scarf width is 7" wide by 88" long.
